Well.. 

My name is Evan Williams and I come from Sydney, Australia and am currently 18 years old. I am the sole kreator of this site, which take up heaps of my time. My usual weekly activities other than doing this page include : Surfing when and wherever possible , going to TAFE (like a university) to study Information Technology (Business Systems) and of course getting blind drunk every weekend. I have had a keen interest in computing since my dad bought me my first one about 5 years ago and I have never looked back since then.  

I work about 1 to 2 days a week at a local retail store, which provides me with just enough money to keep my social life alive and my hungry stomache nice and full.I used to work at a alternative music store in Sydney called Powerstation which was a lot of fun. Hopefully I'll be getting a Info Tech traineeship soon with a local sydney Computer store which should be pretty cool.  

My music interests have been developing since when I was about 12, when I bought my first cassette tape, which was some various artits complimation of just mainstream stuff such as milli Vanilli. Well..I soon found that this music gave me no satisfaction and then I bought my second album..Metallica Black. From there I progressed to Sepultura, Slayer, Testament...and heavier until I started enjoying listening to bands such as HYPOCRISY, BRUTAL TRUTH AND MESHUGGAH.  

I then realised that the internet was a great way to spread information to thousands of people.So I learned how to use it (the internet), and decided to let other people experience the kind of music I like to listen to.  

Thus this site was formed.  

I do cop a lot of shit from some people, because they absolutely hate the music I listen to.But I have been listening to a large variety of music for many years, and I have come to the conclusion that the music featured on my page is the most complex there is, thus requires the most brains to listen to.And most of the people that say shit, usually are not smart enough to understand the messages and different levels of a metal song.The best example of this is Meshuggah's -"Future breed machine".Now that is the heaviest music, in its most complex and "smartest" form. READ THE THESIS!! on the song.  

What is regarded as "METAL" ? A good question.I could get all technicle about this,but I won't.Metal to me is any form of music that uses the heavier side of instruments to convey a point of view that involves a combination of emotional energys.This could be anger, hate, happiness etc .Very few metal or death metal bands actually sing about satan or killing or carstration, and if they do they are only done from a comical point of view.But there are exceptions. The definition of metal may be different to you, but hey who really cares ?.Its not something worth arguing about.
